Neptunian Musing ….

The Neptunian Haze

‘Neptune is your Muse’ an astrologer once told me … ‘Neptune will give you what you want’.

I didn’t know much about Neptune when this wonderful line was given to me, But the two things I did know was  1). drug and alcohol addiction is common signifier for those with a strong and badly functioning Neptune. 2) When it rains on Neptune, it rains diamonds.  These two things alone made me realise the scope and room to play as well as the highs and lows of this mystical planet. I felt like I would need an a-ha moment to fully understand Neptune and I left scratching my head deciding to dig deeper into this Neptunian unknown.

Neptune is the ruler of Pisces, the 12 sign, the 12th house. The hidden. the mystical. Allegedly the house of undoing and redoing.  The hazy, foggy, blurred energy that is Neptune and exploring  how it manifests by permeating it uncontainable energy was going to give me what I wanted seemed contradictory to how I operated or wanted to at least.

Neptune is like a drug on both its high and low sides (or good and bad) with the difference being self creation and connecting with the divine, rather than ingesting something to create this personal mystical, creative, spiritual world or journey. Mind over matter if you will.

Learning to see the ways Neptune can operate was interesting and opened my mind to the possibility of real magick being at play in the world. Quite the achievement for someone whose grounded and intellectual processing stops them from drifting to far off shore.

Neptune when it is functioning well and is nurtured, is spiritual soul mating, its manifesting magick, its house magick, its mystisim, its spiritual retreat, visionary, its creative, its music, its dance, its film and television, its poetry, its writing. It is creative thought and art. Neptune is the Artist. Neptune is the Musician, Neptune is the Mystic, Neptune is your Soul Mate.

Neptune when its down – low rent – or not working as freely as it would like to is unclear, its blurry, its foggy, its unrevealed. It uses things like drugs and alcohol to procure the above experiences. It uses false idols to create this mystical experience of creation. Low functioning Neptune, will not allow you to see the truth of your situation and blinds you from seeing what is really in front of you. Blocked intuition, vision and when the rose tinted glasses come flying off you begin to recognise your in the throws of a bad Neptune transit.

Knowing your natal Neptune and its aspects allows you to see where this magick naturally takes place for you. Knowing where Neptune is transiting in your birth chart will give you a head start in knowing where the fog might be setting in and where things will be slightly unclear and at the very least not fully revealed.

The good news is that Neptune is in Pisces its natural ruler for the next 9 years, and its super potent right now especially with regards to creating your high end neptunian dreams. Perfect time for manifesting. You will notice you will be attracting more Pisceans into the transiting area of your life, (I shit you not !) It is also a really bad time to be delusional around Neptunian ideals. This whole new wave of young women discovering the esoteric and spirituality is a very good reflection of this as we enter our 4th year of the Neptune in Pisces transit. Now is a great time to keep a dream diary and to start exploring communication via creation. Any form of creation.

The houses are a great way to see how Neptune is affecting your life. Are you doing high level soul mating with your 7th house of one on one relationships ? Are you being delusional about finances with your 2nd house transit of money and self worth ? Is your creative world taking flight and buzzing with your 5th house of creativity or are you just getting too high lamenting all the grand plans that are on offer that your inspired to do but haven’t quite taken the first step ?

Neptune can never be controlled or contained but it can be managed or at least directed, Neptune can allow you to muse, Neptune says aim high with Soul Mates – they ARE out there don’t give up. Pluto in Capricorn – How To Turn Goats Piss into Gasoline

Pluto, dear old Pluto. Lets not get started on this planet – non planet malarkey … and debates around its status can refer to the above ….. however let me continue …. Pluto, dear old Pluto … a planet I didn’t really know much about … until Pluto’s unscheduled (in my life) yet much-anticipated for astrologer’s entry in Capricorn in 2008. Pluto’s entry in to Capricorn had an immediate impact on the world, cue the global financial crisis and the partial collapse of the current banking systems of the most secure nations of the world. Pluto is moving through the sign of Capricorn until 2023, destroying and recreating as its heart pleases with the nature of its destruction based on how grand the nature of the delusion really is !

Pluto is the smallest planet in our solar system, discovered on Feb 18th 1930. Its astrological traits were given to it, with reference to what was happening in the world at the time of its discovery. The inner planets have been known about and mused upon since Babylonian times, however these ‘outer planets’, upon discovery have been given their meaning. Why ? because the reason we discovered it is to allow us to look at these themes in a bigger scale in society and in our selves. The concept of information being given to us – when we are ready to digest it, is not a new one and has been a thread which has woven its way through cultural evolution and the esoteric since file sharing began. Pluto the furthest planet from the Sun and takes 248 years to go completely around the zodiac (or move fully around the sun), meaning some of you lucky kids wont have to deal with pluto in its full force.

So what is Pluto ? What does in mean being in Capricorn ? and How does this affect you ? Why & How should we turn it into gasoline ?

Key words attributed to Pluto include:  transformation, destruction, creation, regeneration, healing, renewal, power struggles, upheaval. Pluto IS the phoenix rising from the ashes metaphor and if you’re a Scorpio or Scorpio ascendant – it is your ruler … lucky you ! But if you’re a Capricorn, have planets in Capricorn or aspects to Capricorn … its your best new, I can’t escape you friend.

Pluto (transformation, destruction, creation, regeneration, healing, renewal, power struggles, upheaval) entering Capricorn (the sign of money, government, structure, building, achievement, careers, professionals) IS a big deal especially if you ARE a Capricorn or have any planets in Capricorn or aspecting Capricorn.

Pluto Transits are when the traveling Pluto moves around hitting aspects or planets in your birth chart. Every person has their own astrological portrait and everyone’s transits are unique and they sure as hell are good to know about …. remember Nigella Lawson’s Cocaine use being tabloid fodder after she left her abusive relationship? She was doing a Pluto transit … Pluto (above traits) was conjunct (fueling this pluto energy) into her Sun (ego) … Yup ! Destruction and Rebirth kinda stuff. If you are born Dec 22 – Dec 31 you have just done Pluto, if your Jan 1 – Jan 6 you’re doing pluto as its conjoining your sun a la Nigella ! If your birthday is after these times your time is yet to come.

So now the fear of Pluto has been put into and everyone is getting a little nervous about their Capricorn aspects and placements, we need to look at all the positive attributes of traveling down the River Stix, to the underworld of self exploration, before being spat out the other side wondering what happened ? And Where the did that come from ? ( This is the goats piss being turned into gasoline bit ! )

One must understand that life is a journey of self discovery, if life was meant to be a general, homogenized experience of pairings, couplings, reproductions and job promotions,  without the high’s and lows and without challenge,  things would become very zombified and less expressive.  Without the highs and lows of feelings, emotions and transformative processes, creativity, evolution and progression would not  exist and neither would the joy of feeling and consuming artistic or evolutionary endeveours . We would be retarding ourselves to life and experience and the term personal growth would not exist. Imagery such as Snakes shedding skins, Butterfly’s coming from cocoons, Phoenix’s rising from ashes is what all this pluto transit speaks of !

What to know ?

Don’t run, don’t hide and don’t be delusional ! All aspects especially challenging aspects are good ! evolution and growth is good ! getting rid of false ideas, false idols, false ways of living IS good ! This is how we know we are alive and living truthfully, you may not want to but this Pluto transit WILL make you ! The further you are away from where you are meant to be – the bigger the impact Pluto will have.

Know what planets you have in Capricorn, or aspecting Capricorn to know what areas of yourself maybe challenged or feeling this plutonic (there is a reason it rhymes with colonic) energies, calling you to evolve. Know the house that your Capricorn is in, so you can denote what area of life this is going to be effecting you in. This will allow you to channel your focus and be more aware as to why you might be facing challenging or seeing ways for which to evolve yourself and this my friends is how you turn that magical goats piss into gasoline ! fuel for change to get the fires of evolution going !

Know that on a society level the structures around money, governance, structure and status ARE changing and as we can now see to how this is evolving us as a society – the GFC, The EU, Greece, Obama, Syria, know that by 2023 we will be looking at a new frame-work with regards to the globe and global politics.

The Astro Psych Blueprint …

Why is Astrology relevant ? Is Astrology relevant ? What is your Astrological Signature ? and What does that say about you ?

For most enquiries the above questions are met with a perplexed look of are you fuqing crazy ? In no way does the placement of the stars have any impact on my personality, the concept of a soul choosing a vessel for achieving any kind of life lessons for evolution makes you look like a mad woman.  The whole process of conception revolves around this idea of the one that got past the goal posts or an  X x Y= Z kind of mentality… well where I’m from anyway…

So if the skeptic was able to entertain the idea long enough to find out what their astro signature was, they should be entertained long enough to discover there is some strange synchronicity between them and their astro signature …. creating tools for your life’s evolution.

What is the Signature ?

The signature is the 3 fundamentals of a person’s birth chart or psychological blueprint. The Sun Sign, The Moon Sign and the Ascendant. This is generally the first place one goes to when fielding the wrath of skeptic who think Astrology is no more important than the daily TV listings, it’s when meeting people you generally get a healthy dose of their ascendant.  On many occasions when meeting people and enquiring if they are a certain sign, when wrong most of the time it ends up being the ascendant.

The Sun Sign is the Ego – the place that the individual aspires to project themselves to. It’s where the ego directs its interests and persona. The Ascendant is the mask you show the world, the way the world sees you and how you are perceived by the world. A new concept right !! So when you add this concept there is a new otherness that people see you as. It’s also another sign, archetype, superpower to draw upon. It’s like a secret super power you never knew you had or at least explains why people vibe an otherness about  you, the Je Nes Se Quois …  Whether it be stubborn Taureaness, the otherness of the Gemini duality that you can’t pin down, the Scorpionic tongue that came out of nowhere or  Sagittarian non stop adventuring and philosophical musing.

Knowing  what these 3 signs are, looking at how they interact, examining are they interacting well together or are they in conflict. Do you feel conflicted ?  Are you working with them in the best way? Do you even know what any of these energies mean ! These are all types of self analysis which helps individuals understand the how, what and whys of the self.

Learning what your astro signature is, and looking at where these energies come from and blend is a great start to  your astro or psych blueprint. Learning more about yourself, the natural talents you were given and how you balance and work with these energies is a great way to start moving forward in taking control of your life.

Starting the Mix …

So what is the Mix ?

Ideally this would be a space to create conversation and share the gifts and knowledge we come across in this journey called life, helping  and supporting each other, learning from each others insights and lessons. Talking witchy shit and self educating for growth and sanity ! to remind ourselves to look around  as the solutions are in clear cosmic sight…. with a strong focus to not get sucked down by life’s challenges and complexities.

So I guess the Mix is a place where people (even if its just me) can muse … compare tales – share secret tricks and advice each other on how to pull ourselves out of the muck when it all becomes to much and to keep us elevated when we get to our Turangawaewae (our place to stand on our feet empowered and connected)  …. to keep us there ! 

Born at the end of the Pluto – Uranus Square series – the final one is approaching … A Full Moon in Leo conjunct a visible to the eye Jupiter (Luminous Luck and Expansion anyone?), A Uranus conjunct South Node (surprise – revolution to our old fall back settings and comfort zones), a glorious Aquarius Mercury Retrograde in my natal 6 house (reviewing day to day habits and making this routine BETTER !) and finally as the North Node (destiny) sits conjuncting my Air Grand Trine … Its time to get out of the box, stop intelectualizing in my head and start communicating and using this Saturn conjunction of my 3rd House Uranus ! Who knows where this will lead but with such a great basis to begin this concept, Im really looking forward to seeing what comes outta the mix
