20^th March 2020 @ 1450 AEST we see the Aries Ingress or Autumn Equinox. This marks the Astrological New Year, the first turn of the 2020 wheel where both day and night are equal. The Equinox occurs on Venus’ day, in Venus’ hour, as Venus is in her exaltation in Taurus. This gives some hope and a small beacon of optimism for this challenging Autumn season. It also encourages and emphasis the need for heightened self-nurture and nourishment by simple methods. Diet is important, physical and metal self-care is essential as we face intense challenges entering the Autumn and Winter Months.

The Sun’s shift into exalted Aries, we can begin to really take charge of our health and the wellbeing of those around us and love. Mars its ruler, is also in a strong position in Capricorn, making today a wonderful time to forward plan to the Winter solstice. Things are  changing by the day, we might not know what the next day, week, month will bring. But at this Aries Ingress, as we honour the moving of the light balances into darkness, let’s not forget, we have the power to look after each other at such a dark time. Let the Sun’s ingress into Aries, be a reminder of this. Look after each other and please be safe, keep isolated as much as you can.

May the Sun’s light as it enters Aries, help guide us along our way, and we move into the challenging and uncertain times ahead. Light is a powerful thing, where virus struggle to survive. So, remember to keep your lights on full beam,  as we make our first steps towards the darkness.
