20th March 2020 @ 1450 AEST we see the Aries Ingress or Autumn Equinox. This marks the Astrological New Year, the first turn of the 2020 wheel where both day and night are equal. The Equinox occurs on Venus’ day, in Venus’ hour, as Venus is in her exaltation in Taurus. This gives some hope and a small beacon of optimism for this challenging Autumn season. It also encourages and emphasis the need for heightened self-nurture and nourishment by simple methods. Diet is important, physical and metal self-care is essential as we face intense challenges entering the Autumn and Winter Months.
The Sun’s shift into exalted Aries, we can begin to really take charge of our health and the wellbeing of those around us and love. Mars its ruler, is also in a strong position in Capricorn, making today a wonderful time to forward plan to the Winter solstice. Things are changing by the day, we might not know what the next day, week, month will bring. But at this Aries Ingress, as we honour the moving of the light balances into darkness, let’s not forget, we have the power to look after each other at such a dark time. Let the Sun’s ingress into Aries, be a reminder of this. Look after each other and please be safe, keep isolated as much as you can.
May the Sun’s light as it enters Aries, help guide us along our way, and we move into the challenging and uncertain times ahead. Light is a powerful thing, where virus struggle to survive. So, remember to keep your lights on full beam, as we make our first steps towards the darkness.

The Full Moon in Virgo occurs on March 9/10, as its Ruler, Mercury stations direct later that day. When the Full Moon in Virgo & Mercury Direct go hand in hand. This helps establish a rational structure, within all the confusion that comes with a Mercury being retrograde in Pisces. The Sun conjoining Neptune at this Full Lunation, combined with Mercury’s retrograde, creates a wonderful space for dreaming, creativity, multidimension thought processes, but for clarity and clear conscious thought, not so much.
The Virgo Full Moon offers an anchor to ground, amongst all the confusion, dis-illusion, fragmented thoughts and blurring of the edges. The Virgo Moon’s analysis looks, for the finer details and discerns with a very sharp eye. Corona Virus seems to be the current focus of the world’s attention, most of this retrograde. This Full Moon offers concise, grounded and clearer analysis of what has been fogging up the newsfeeds. From panic buying, to takes on power and control mechanisms and conspiracy theories. Rather than looking at the facts. This is a new virus, that we don’t understand, and one we seek to understand.
The Virgo Full Moon offers some reasonable and logical space for us to stand amongst all the dividing and delusionary takes currently on offer. With the Moon in Virgo and Mercury turning direct, may this be the pivot point; invoking the power of rational thought and reason calling it back from the deep yonder. Allowing us to find out way out of the fog, for greater clarity and allow for more rational and informed information to come to the forefront. Putting aside all the misinformation, the mis-informed, the slightly informed, and the not informed. Why? so we can work with real information, to help keep our most vulnerable healthy. Remembering amongst all of significations of Mercury, he is also the Scientist and the Doctor & Virgo does have a good pre-occupation with health, thanks to Mercury, its rulers significations.

Today marks Venus moving into Taurus, for a month-long transit in the sign it rules, Taurus. Venus, is in a challenging aspect for a lot of 2020, with March being the best month for Venus type elections and themes. Venus in Taurus has its focus on nourishment via food, bodily nurture, investment or acquisition of Venus type products (Art, Jewellery, Beauty Products, Food appliances etc), as well engaging in activities that bring great joy and connectivity. Where Libra is more social and external in its Venus significations; Taurus is more grounded, homely, private or yin focused. Venus in Taurus is more private, with an internal focus in its manifestation.
During March, Venus while in Taurus, will have helpful aspects to Mars and Jupiter, which allows opportunity and joyous situations, to have that extra synergy, with lots of vigour. March is the month to really push any Venus type goals or engagements. Why? in April, Venus begin it’s 4-month transit in Gemini due to its retrograde, (usually it’s a month-long transit) which will give Venus a more analytical and busy focus, less relaxation, busier and more flustered. There will be frustrations and delays in group activities, engagements, or Venus type aims. Not great for a planet whose focus is to bring things together, and harmonizing. Post the retrograde, Mars & Saturn comes into play to create challenging aspects to her. Short answer, March is the month to really step-back and work the pleasures at play. #thebrujamix # Luminaryastro #luminaryastrology#VenusinTaurus#Venustransits#astrology#aries#taurus#gemini#cancer#leo#virgo#libra#scorpio#sagitarrius#capricorn#aquarius#pisces❤️🌹🧚♀️💪👌🙌🏽🐿💫
Saturn Pluto = 22 degrees of Capricorn Jan 12th / 13th 2020
Welcome to the 2020s, where things get a little freaky early on, with the alignment of Saturn and Pluto on 12/13 January. The 2ndweek of the New Year, is quite something to behold, feeling the catalyst, the tipping point for change, a changing of the guard or a new operating order or paradigm, its being formed. Richard Tarnas labels this conjunction, “Cycles of Crisis and Contraction”, in his Great book, “Cosmos and Psyche”, and after years of speculation, it’s finally upon us.
2019, held a strong pulse of this as we lead into the, January 12/13th, Saturn & Pluto conjunction. Anointed by some as apocalyptic, others have described as the fascist conjunction, it’s certainly a pressure cooker, as established power structures and unseen power forces collide. History and events that have occurred during past intonations of this conjunction have not been kind. Seen as large marker point for social change and even dismantlement of Society as we knew it at that time. We are now at this point of history, once again.
Saturn and Pluto conjunctions occur every 33 to 38 years, and have an aggressive, de-stabling of power & quality to them. Power, abuse of power, over-use of power, control and dismantling are all strong themes aligned with the conjunction. The 2020 hook-up occurs in Capricorn, Saturn’s Ruling sign, the significations towards Government, Global Reputations, Control, Money and Conservatorship have never been so strongly at the forefront; for a seemingly larger dis-enchanted Global Population. Pluto introduced the theme of financial disruption, when it entered Capricorn January 2008. The immediate manifestation and impact was the World GFC. The 2020 Saturn Pluto conjunction will put great pressure on, this model, which was interrupted with the GFC, and look at how sustainable both fiscally, and perhaps environmentally, it really is. Saturn Pluto are the Ultimate Power Games or Star Wars.
The last Saturn Pluto conjunction occurred in 1982 in Libra. The peak of the Cold War, Ronald Reagan, an actor, was President of The United States, not that dis-similar to the current President. Margaret Thatcher was in Power in the UK. Cuts to Public Service, Free-market Economies was the new economic survival mode. Thatcherism& Reaganomics were sweeping the West and became a new Western Government standard. Free-market Economies, Privatization of Government Services was unheard of before this point. It was what we “needed” to survive the economic issues of the time.
Previous to the 1982 conjunction, there was the Saturn Pluto Conjunction of 1947/48 which saw, India and Pakistan separated by a new invisible land boarder by the British, separating families and religious boundaries, creating physicality to something that was always more loosely defined. The creation of Israel, from Palestine and the carving up of the new boarders in the Middle East also occurred at this time, the issues around this, are still not resolved. The Conjunction before that, saw events precipitate and create the beginning of World War 1. Crisis and Contractions indeed, Saturn Pluto have demonstrated many times just this century alone, the power it has, to change the global landscape of the world we live in over and over again, for power and control.
The opposition of Saturn and Pluto, of which this conjunction is the closing cycle of, was when the September 11thterrorist attacks occurred in the United States. Creating the marking point of the current global climate and politics in which we live. Interestingly enough, Saturn was in Gemini in the 9thHouse of Devoted Religious beliefs and Philosophy and Pluto was in freedom loving Sagittarius in the 3rdhouse of local neighbourhoods and day to day environments, when this attack happened, showing the great impact and literal manifestation, this combo can create, in such tragic ways. The fall out of such a deplorable act against humanity, reflects the depths that these 2 planets will go to push their respective agendas, it is with the current January 2020 cycle that we see these 2 mighty forces come together again to potentially reconfigure the world landscape, once again.
The recent rise of Brexit, Local and regional Nationalism, refusal of rights for refugees and the continued changing landscape of global politics, demonstrate clearly that we are currently living in Saturn Pluto times. The purpose of this article is not of prediction, but one must observe, the recent influence and obvious signs of climate change. The realizations that our planet is not able to sustain life as we know it, is a potential avenue for such Plutonic change, in this 2020 cycle, as it has been bubbling away for most of 2019. This outcome of this observation remains to be seen, but the resistance of government to address or recognize the issue is a potential sticking point, and an area that is due for cataclysmic change. It will be interesting to see what sets the agenda pre and post Jan 12/13th2020.
Two days before we have this exact conjunction, will see a lunar eclipse also on the Capricorn Cancer Axis, reinforcing the themes of Home, Resources, Nurture, Sustenance and Protection vs Governance, Society, Power Structures, Money and Rulership. Eclipses are shadow points, darking of the luminaries, effects and results are never seen or witnessed at this exact time, this also blurs or darkens the scope of the Pluto Saturn conjunction which occurring at the time of the Eclipse. Basic terms, this time frame will be clouded from obvious direct indications of what direction the pressure points will transmute from. But the pressure points will still be felt and activated.
The 3rdTransit this week, which will merge and melt into all of the above. which also occurs at the Eclipse, is the Mercury Cazimi, also in Capricorn. It the perfect antidote, for insight, in the weeks ahead. Mercury, conjoining the Sun, which is being eclipsed by the Nodal axis at the Cancer Full Moon, pulls in the Mercurial to an already intensive week of confrontation and challenge. Mercury, having its full pallet cleansed, burning away all the side issues holding it back from addressing the real issues at hand, will be very interesting to see unfold. Like all Mercury Cazimi, we will not find our way with this until late January, after the New Moon in Aquarius, and once Mercury moves past 6 degrees of Aquarius. But what the Cazimi does offer, is a chance to reset our voices and opinions, amongst all this overwhelming aggressive, constraining and conflictive energy to give resource and clarity on how to move past or through the proverbial mire.
January, is an unusually heavy and volatile Moon, proceed with caution. But to end with a quote from Richard Tarnas, about the Saturn Pluto conjunction, “We can see here too that the other side of the Saturn Pluto gestalt: The noble fate binding of one’s strenuous efforts to the chain of human destiny, which creates an enduring good and forges a deep and permanent moral development in Human Evolution”.
“In this 1982 painting, the figure wears a three-pointed crown – a prominent symbol in Basquiat’s visual lexicon. The figure stands defiantly with one arm raised. Basquiat’s crown has many potential meanings, but here may be read as a symbol of majesty, endurance and triumph.” NGV, describing a painting by Jean – Michel Basquiat, created at the last Saturn Pluto conjunction.
Fresh off the Sun’s ingress to Scorpio, Monday 28th of October (AEST) delivers a Volatile Scorpio New Moon. The New Moon at 4 ° Scorpio, opposite Uranus at 4 ° Taurus, is a perfect storm for challenges and turbulence. Scorpio isn’t afraid upheaval or turbulence. Uranus LIVES for it, this is the first time a New Moon in Scorpio has faced off to Uranus in Taurus, so to a degree its un-charted Waters. The turbulence, volatility, disruption and potential pattern breaking created by this formation will linger for 2 weeks after this Lunation, until the Full Moon. Creating an intense 2 weeks.
Also, at this lunation, Mars, Saturn and The Nodes will form a T-Square, adding to the fricative quality. This Cardinal T-Square will be putting the squeeze on issues that may have popped up during the Cancer – Capricorn Eclipse season. As this T-Square is of a malefic quality, it might not be the most comfortable of aspects, coinciding with this New Moon. Adding to this strange and aggressive mix, is Mercury also in Scorpio, coming to a standstill, before it begins its retrogradation a few days later. Nothing says Welcome to Scorpio Season more than a bit of challenge and volatility. This New Moon isn’t all peace love and rainbows. So, settle in, buy the ticket take the ride, because is sure as hell won’t be quiet and still! 🌞🌚♏️🙄👻#thebrujamix#luminaryastrology#astrology#newmoon#newmooninscorpio#aries#taurus#gemini#cancer#leo#virgo#libra#scorpio #scorpioseason#sagittarius#capricorn#aquarius #pisces
Today 4 October – Mercury enters Scorpio where it will stay until 9 December. A 3 week tour of Scorpio becomes a 2 month journey. The final Mercury Retrograde of 2019 occurs from 1 November – 21 November, activating planets in the 11° – 27° zone of Scorpio and Fixed Sign Planets. Simple Plan – stop and remember this when you feel a tail rising or being triggered. Words have great power, sometimes more power than people give credit for ❤️ 🌹🌊 this transit may give great scope into this rumination – words and power 🧩📖📝💻🔐🔍
Pluto has just Stationed Direct, 17 days after Saturn also came out of its Retrograde phase. Both are now on track for their infamous meeting in January 2020. Outer Planet Retrogrades are a different vibe to Inner planet retrogrades i.e.: Mercury, Venus or Mars. Outer planet retrogrades have a more regular cycle and time stamps. Pluto Retrogrades don’t vary much year to year. It’s just path of the cycle.
If Pluto is hitting personal planets, yes there is much more heat and gravitas, the retrograde just elongates the transit, but generally it is not as malefic or troublesome, in comparison to inner planet retrogradation’s. Pluto and Saturn going direct IS the last retrograde the pair complete before they meet in January 2020.
The Saturn Pluto conjunctions ARE heavy (historically and energetically). They are peak markers for Totalitarianism, Power Struggles and Clashes. The last Saturn Pluto conjunction was in 1982. Ronald Reagan, mainly known as an actor became President of the United States. The UK had Margaret Thatcher who was demolishing the status quo and creating the free-market economy … dear I say a reality tv host is President now and Brexit isn’t exactly an everyday occurrence. Previous to 1982, Saturn Pluto conjoined in post WW2 politics. Seeing new territories such as Israel created, and the carving up of the Middle East. Pluto and Saturn maybe finally moving forwards – but it is there conjunction in January 2020, that’s really got me thinking 💥🔍🧩
Full Moons allow energetic harnessing of opportunity at peak ripeness. The Full Moon in Pisces is no exception. Conjoining Neptune, and makings aspects to its traditional ruler Jupiter, the Moon is creating a connectivity between 2 planets, in signs of strength or rulership. Neptune is about having no boundaries and is highly imaginative, with an illusionary quality. Imagination and Illusions tend to manifest or operate from an unseen or invisible realm, making this lunation full off imagination, and potential lunacy. If ever there was a portal to the “Doors of Perception”, this could very well be it.
Jupiter, the traditional ruler of Pisces, has been Squaring Neptune all year, with Jupiter making its final application to Neptune, at this Full Moon. The Moon enters this discussion between Jupiter and Neptune, creating a final book end to their discussions. Jupiter and Neptune tend to have an expansive quality which can create inflated idealism, creativity, disillusionment and having the will pulled over your eyes. However, with Saturn making a wider sextile aspect to Neptune, there is opportunity to ground these visions or ideals into life, but unless you’re looking for that switch, the opportunity may go unseen. This Full Moon is a great opportunity to bring down into reality some visions or ideas that you have been holding on this year. Or to enjoy the soft dreaming that this aspect creates.
Caution’s include, if anything that pops up out of nowhere at this Moon, that sounds too good to be true. May just be a mirage or an unreal fantasy, only time will tell if this fantasy can become a reality. Saturn will reveal all when it reaches an exact aspect to Neptune by November 13th. 🧜♂️🧜♀️🌝💫🌊♓️ #thebrujamix #luminaryastrology #luminaryastro #astroweather #astrotransits #astrology #fullmoons #fullmooninpisces #fullmoonconjunctneptune #jupiterneptunesquare #aries #taurus #gemini #cancer #virgo #leo #libra #scorpio #sagittarius #capricorn #aquarius #pisces
Congratulations, its finally August! We are finishing up what felt like, the real time version of Survivor. June and July has been the most challenging Astrology of 2019 some would say ever, especially if you are Cardinal sign (Cancer, Capricorn, Libra or Aries). It was horrendous for some, lacklustre and depressing for others, if it didn’t touch you, well congratulation you are in the minority. But we are finally on the other side of it, from NOW – as the New Moon in Leo occurs, 1:13pm ASET.
August & September are exciting with innovative and creative problem solving, of the muck that was churned up in June / July, due to Jupiter and Uranus hitting stellium’s in Leo and Virgo. This IS positive as there is a feeling of control and freedom. Momentum and Joie de vie is back, August 10th Jupiter station direct after a 3 months retrograde, adding to the buoyant nature of the upcoming months.
October – November we keep plodding along the track, fresh off the highs of August and September. December, however, is when things get a bit tricky again. The beaming highs might drop like a thud as Jupiter enters Capricorn the sign of its fall, in early December, and we re-enter the eclipse season. Advise: Things are warming up from now until December, finally our Mojo’s are being rediscovered, with Jupiter in Sagittarius offering us 4 full months of his exulted ray beams of Mojo Love. It’s time to enjoy the Sunshine and follow anything that truly inspires our passions and joy. They don’t call Jupiter the higher Benefic for nothing ! Trust and Enjoy, the Sun is finally coming back out, we are leaving the grind behind !

Within 24 hours after the Leo New Moon, Mercury Station’s direct, from the watery shadows of Cancer, opposed by an even more shadowy Pluto in Capricorn. Mercury has been delayed, obstructed and downright frustrated, creating an energetic atmosphere akin to sitting in a dark swap land, waiting for the bus to arrive, to take you far away from the drudgery, only to find out the bus route was on a slower timetable AND the Bus has broken down. Turns out, you got nothing but time to lament.
Movements & La Communication were stalled, redirected, non-existent and frustrating. This time around the messages seemed more intense and damn right confronting. With no real traction and generating no solid resolutions, since the beginning of July, possibly even late June. Set amongst the Eclipse mash ups in Cancer and Capricorn, it was an especially gnarly example of a Mercury Retrograde. Frustrating, complicated and fraught with emotions and expectations. Dwelling, detouring and following these Mercurial Bends and Twists, was the only clear option, whilst trying not to lose your shit.
This is changing August 2nd when Mercury stands still to begin its direct motion, clearing its original Station point on August 15th. The dwelling and la communication dis-illusion will be but a memory. The week following this, Mercury will trine Jupiter, its first positive aspect since its post retrograde phase. Creating clearer vision of what this whole Retrograde drudgery was about.
Currently, your striking your last match in a wet cave underground; you’re using all your will to ignite, watching the flame struggle for oxygen, after beating the damp flint at its own game, not knowing which way it is going to go, Ignites ! Finally there is a light to begin your navigation out of this underground cave, as Mercury begins to make its way to the light of August & Leo Season 🦁💥♌️🌈
