Full Moon In Scorpio – When the facade begins to crack

This upcoming Full Moon is Scorpio (May 3-4) is just one of those things that needs to be flagged … before things go a bit side ways and wild.  I’ve actually reached the stage of when emotions become cutting and transformative out of nowhere, I’ve had to stop and thought I bet it’s a Scorpio Moon and bingo, it is. The Scorpio Full Moon is like the gauge for irrational emotional events… fights with lovers, dark transcendence/transformation, the rain clouds storming on you outta nowhere. If the concept is we operate mainly on an unconscious level 95% of the time, and Full Moons bring light to the dark, illuminating what has been hidden, Fuck me the Scorpio  (rules unconscious) Full Moon is like an unconscious emotional colonic !

This Full Moon is an amazing opportunity to delete some very old unconscious programming, with the moon shining a light on it, to highlight whats been lurking in the darkness, untouched and unrecognized. The Sun in Taurus is asking you to look after yourself physically with simple, comfort and stability physically, self nurture and care on the physical realm, while the Full Moon (in opposition to the Sun) helps to purge your emotional subconscious to its deepest realms, forcing you to creating boundaries, where needed, and blowing up the blockages. So essentially great care is needed this Full Moon.

Scorpio has sting ! its has change, it has transformative transcendence, it IS the Phoenix coming out of the ashes, the snake that is shedding another skin, it is the eagle of prey sawing high above the earth… All amazing things but not so amazing when you’re the last to know why everything suddenly got heavy man, as you were to busy having fun avoiding your shadow. This is a passionate moon that pushes for transformation and letting go, at the very least shining a light on your shit! This Full Moon is a closure to the Scorpio New Moon that was eclipsed October 24th 2014. This Full Moon is the ending to this 6 month cycle, as the New Moon was eclipsed, this adds more weight to this idea of hidden issues or unconscious patterns coming out to be let go of.

Pluto (Hades) – the god of the Underworld is Scorpio’s ruler is in a positive aspect to this Moon doubling the transformational aspect,  while Mars ( God of War, Aggression and a fast paced confrontational energy ) is in opposition to it.  When in opposition energies must be balanced. This Moon is supercharged,  so use this energy wisely, its a great time to be creative, purge, let go ! The aim of this Full Moon is to channel this Scorpionic energy to its highest level ! Haute Scorpio not Low Scorpio as the great Mystic Medusa says.

“Hey Jupiter, No one is picking up the phone, I guess its me and me” Tori Amos – Hey Jupiter.

Well, its been feeling a little bit like that since Jupiter turned retrograde on 9th December 2014.  Jupiter the great benefactor, our jovial Joie de Vivre, is turning his spirits around THIS Thursday after a 4 month retrograde in Leo. Retrogrades are tricky little pieces of time travel where a planet is moving backwards, so its energy is not manifested directly or in a forward and expansive motion. All planets retrograde with the Mercury Retrograde being the most commonly discussed retrograde.

Retrogrades are a great time for going inward – introspection, reviewing, analysis etc. With all the heavy hitting astrology of this year, Pluto (deep transformation) square (difficult aspect) to Uranus (surprise, change, revolution), New moons conjunct Pluto, Blood Moons, Mercury retrograde etc Jupiter going direct on Thursday is going to be a welcome relief and one that resonates with people sooner rather than later !

Jupiter is the planet of luck, expansion, travel, jovialness, enthusiasm, higher philosophy – so with luck and expansion being restricted and not able to properly assert his energy with all this tough other astrology going down, this Jupiter direct is going to be the hit we need to start moving forward after a challenging start to 2015.

Jupiter has been in Leo since July 2014 and will remain there until August 2015 before moving in to Virgo. Jupiter in Leo gives you a good hit of 12 year luck and expansion wherever you have Leo in your birth chart, your finances, your career, relationships etc.  Jupiter in Leo is NOT shy, it’s not quiet, its got quite a nice bit of flare and expansion. Best of all he LOVES being in the fire signs. So when Jupiter moves forward in Leo on Thursday there should be a wee jolt, a wee raising of the spirits – more optimism, more room for growth, expansion and possibilities. After 4 months of mulling over how to make such things happen I must admit, it’s going to be fucking awesome having Jupiter back onside again ! Time to pop the Champagne and embrace the new opportunities that await in true Jupitarian fashion. It will be something sweet after all this evolutionary astrology thats been hitting our decks !  And lord knows recently we have all earned it !

Neptunian Musing ….

The Neptunian Haze

‘Neptune is your Muse’ an astrologer once told me … ‘Neptune will give you what you want’.

I didn’t know much about Neptune when this wonderful line was given to me, But the two things I did know was  1). drug and alcohol addiction is common signifier for those with a strong and badly functioning Neptune. 2) When it rains on Neptune, it rains diamonds.  These two things alone made me realise the scope and room to play as well as the highs and lows of this mystical planet. I felt like I would need an a-ha moment to fully understand Neptune and I left scratching my head deciding to dig deeper into this Neptunian unknown.

Neptune is the ruler of Pisces, the 12 sign, the 12th house. The hidden. the mystical. Allegedly the house of undoing and redoing.  The hazy, foggy, blurred energy that is Neptune and exploring  how it manifests by permeating it uncontainable energy was going to give me what I wanted seemed contradictory to how I operated or wanted to at least.

Neptune is like a drug on both its high and low sides (or good and bad) with the difference being self creation and connecting with the divine, rather than ingesting something to create this personal mystical, creative, spiritual world or journey. Mind over matter if you will.

Learning to see the ways Neptune can operate was interesting and opened my mind to the possibility of real magick being at play in the world. Quite the achievement for someone whose grounded and intellectual processing stops them from drifting to far off shore.

Neptune when it is functioning well and is nurtured, is spiritual soul mating, its manifesting magick, its house magick, its mystisim, its spiritual retreat, visionary, its creative, its music, its dance, its film and television, its poetry, its writing. It is creative thought and art. Neptune is the Artist. Neptune is the Musician, Neptune is the Mystic, Neptune is your Soul Mate.

Neptune when its down – low rent – or not working as freely as it would like to is unclear, its blurry, its foggy, its unrevealed. It uses things like drugs and alcohol to procure the above experiences. It uses false idols to create this mystical experience of creation. Low functioning Neptune, will not allow you to see the truth of your situation and blinds you from seeing what is really in front of you. Blocked intuition, vision and when the rose tinted glasses come flying off you begin to recognise your in the throws of a bad Neptune transit.

Knowing your natal Neptune and its aspects allows you to see where this magick naturally takes place for you. Knowing where Neptune is transiting in your birth chart will give you a head start in knowing where the fog might be setting in and where things will be slightly unclear and at the very least not fully revealed.

The good news is that Neptune is in Pisces its natural ruler for the next 9 years, and its super potent right now especially with regards to creating your high end neptunian dreams. Perfect time for manifesting. You will notice you will be attracting more Pisceans into the transiting area of your life, (I shit you not !) It is also a really bad time to be delusional around Neptunian ideals. This whole new wave of young women discovering the esoteric and spirituality is a very good reflection of this as we enter our 4th year of the Neptune in Pisces transit. Now is a great time to keep a dream diary and to start exploring communication via creation. Any form of creation.

The houses are a great way to see how Neptune is affecting your life. Are you doing high level soul mating with your 7th house of one on one relationships ? Are you being delusional about finances with your 2nd house transit of money and self worth ? Is your creative world taking flight and buzzing with your 5th house of creativity or are you just getting too high lamenting all the grand plans that are on offer that your inspired to do but haven’t quite taken the first step ?

Neptune can never be controlled or contained but it can be managed or at least directed, Neptune can allow you to muse, Neptune says aim high with Soul Mates – they ARE out there don’t give up.
